Trinh (Veronica Ngo) is forced to do jobs for Black Dragon when her daughter is taken from her.  She takes on one more job to get her daughter back and she must steal a hard drive with codes to a military satellite.  She puts together a team including Quan (Johnny Tri Nguyen) who is a an undercover government agent.   They get fakes names like out of Reservoir Dogs and the job gets more complicated as it goes on.  Nothing goes to plan as Trinh wants to finish the job and Quan wants to capture the elusive crime boss Black Dragon.

CLASH has a simple point A to point B plot which unfolds the story of the two main characters through flashbacks and the action of what is going on now.   The action scenes are every bit as good as the other Vietnamese film that Veronica and Johnny starred in (THE REBEL).    They even put in a tango dance.   No character is safe in this film whether they get physically or emotionally hurt.   Trinh is first presented as cold and in control, but CLASH reveals other sides to her as the flashbacks and the quieter moments reveal the emotions she keeps in check.   CLASH has plenty of gun battle, martial arts, and twists to keep you glued to the movie to the very end.

SPECIAL FEATURES:
A CONVERSATION WITH JOHNNY & VERONICA is an interview with the two leads in English as they talk about the film and how it came together in addition to their experience of wearing many different hates (Johnny directing the action and rewriting the script and Veronica also being a producer on the film).
ANATOMY OF A FIGHT SCENE- a look at a fight scene from the rehearsals to the filming of the scene.
CAST OF CHARACTERS features interviews with the cast.  Rounding out the extras are a music video and the theatrical trailer.

FINAL ANALYSIS:  CLASH is an engaging fury of gun battles and martial arts.   Fans of Action films and Hong Kong action will love CLASH.
