MACHINE GUN PREACHER is based on the true
story of Sam Childers. It is a moving film about one’s man journey
to save his soul and save others from the horrors others would inflict on them. Sam
struggles to keep the Sudan mission going from waging a fight
to get the money to support it, keep alive when Kony’s forces wage a battle to destroy the orphanage and kill Childers,
and keep his family together. He gets sucked into the mission as his battle
is also around him and inside himself. MACHINE GUN PREACHER is a remarkable story
which shows what horrors we ignore around the world and the efforts a few like Childers accomplish against the odds.
