An elf named
Wayne is upset he didn't get the promotion to be the Director of the Naughty List after working for Santa for 227
years. He is partnered with an idealistic stumbling rookie named Lanny. Wayne and Lanny encounter a few challenges
and must work together to make sure Santa delivers a present to a little boy, Timmy.
PREP & LANDING is a dun and charming animated
special. Wayne wants more out of life than just working as part of the Prep and Landing team for Santa. The
special manages to weave in fun, adventure, and character development along with the Christmas spirit. The animators
have put in lots of references and In-Jokes in the special (like showing clips from other past Disney specials on the TV set
in the house the two elves are prepping, a license plate that is Walt Disney's birthday)This DVD is packaged with two bonus
shorts as Tiny races to get a cup of coffee in TINY'S BIG ADVENTURE while Wayne and Lanny are back for a secret mission for
Mrs. Claus in OPERATION SECRET SANTA. The special and two shorts scream out for a PREP & LANDING feature film.
This disc is released in time for the new PREP & LANDING special, NAUGHTY VS. NICE which airs on ABS on December
5th.
Also on the disc are the vintage animated looking KRINGLE ACADEMY shorts (WELCOME TO KRINGLE ACADEMY,
EQUIPMENT TRAINING, DOs AND DON'Ts) along with the just as funny NORTH POLE NEWS and NORTH POLE Commercials. PREP &
