Season 7 of THE NEXT GENERATION
was the end of one journey for the Next Generation cast before they went on to
do four movies. The last season of TNG
has some great episodes (PARALLELS, THE PEGASUS, LOWER DECKS, MASKS, JOURNEY’S
END, and PREEMPTIVE STRIKE) and some stinkers like any plotline dealing with
Worf’s son Alexander. Season 7 of TNG
wrapped up many things for a few returning characters while ending while they
still have some good scripts and not fading out after being on the air too
long.

FINAL ANALYSIS:
The
seventh season of STAR TREK: THE NEXT GENERATION look fantastic on blu-ray with some great new extras while
including all of the old DVD extras. I hope CBS and Paramount
start upgrading DEEP SPACE NINE for blu-ray soon.
