BANSHEE season three is insane and full
of addicting action
and story like the first two seasons.
Four major character deaths happen during the season as Lucas Hood
experiences firsthand what consequences his actions as posing as the sheriff of
Banshee has. He thinks he can have a
normal life with Siobhan, a sheriff deputy, while he plans one more heist (with
his ex-love Carrie, Job, and Sugar to steal money out of a vault from a soon to
be decommissioned military base.
Meanwhile, psychopath Redbone leader Chayton Littlestone wages war on
both Proctor and Lucas Hood with carnage to follow on all sides. Proctor continues
to teach his niece Rebecca
the business, but he starts to think he can step away from his criminal ways
when his Amish mother is found to be dying.
Season three proves the actions of the characters have consequences
which play out later and even the actions of the involvement of Lucas with the
real Lucas Hood’s son (in season 2) comes back to bite him. Also
the troubled teenage life of Divia
(Lucas and Carrie’s daughter) develops further, but I do think the writers drop
the ball with her character by the end of the season as it would have been interesting
to see where her character would have went if they kept it going in a certain
direction.

FINAL ANALYSIS:
BANSHEE season 3 is as insanely good as the
first two seasons in a very addictive action noir show with some really bloody
and insane action. I can’t wait to see
how the BANSHEE saga concludes with season 4, but fans of the show should own
this season and other seasons on Blu-ray or DVD
