SYNCHRONICITY is a time travel noir love
story. Jim (Chad McKnight) is a physicist working on
a time travel experiment which is seeking investment from greedy industrialist
Klaus Meisner (Michael Ironside).
Things get more complicated after Jim meets Abby (Brianne Davis) that he
falls for before he begins to suspect she could be playing a game on him with
Klaus to steal away his invention. Before
long, Jim finds himself as a part of the experiment as he goes back in the past
in his attempt to prevent losing his invention of time travel to Klaus.
SYNCHRONICITY is a low budget independent
film which has a
great score reminiscent of BLADE RUNNER and other 1980s sci-fi movies with a
film noir look with downtown Atlanta, Georgia
being used for film locations to give a retro futuristic look to this time
travel tale which blends sci-fi with film noir. Abby is the femme fatale
while Jim is the dupe
who is trying to get himself out of the mess he finds himself in. The
theories on time travel match what I
believe time travel would be like which would involve parallel universes and
timelines with infinite possibilities.
This movie is one of the best and most intelligent sci-fi movies I have
seen and it ranks up there with some of the best time travel movies like PRIMER
and PREDESTINATION.

like BLADE RUNNER along with giving plenty of information on the making of the
movie.
