The 14th season of DOCTOR WHO was a moment of transition as one companion, Sarah Jane Smith (Elisabeth Sladen), left the Doctor
to have another different companion- Leela (Louise Jameson)- step in. In the middle of that transition, we learn more about
the time lords and see the doctor facing off against one of his greatest foes again. This season has a wide variety of stories
from historical fantasy to Manchurian Candidate sci-fi to an Agatha Christie murder mystery on a sandcrawler with robots to
Tom Baker dressing up like Sherlock Holmes (years before he would actually play Sherlcok). The 14th season definitely has
it all and lots to offer to any fan of DOCTOR WHO. It is one of the two really great seasons that Script Editor Robert Holmes
and Producer Philip Hinchcliffe (with the other season of greatness being season 13)
