KNIVES OUT is an entertaining and funny murder mystery. Daniel Craig is wonderful as private detective Benoit while Ana de Armas plays a wonderful foil as Harlan Thrombey's nurse Maria. Harlan's family is full of despicable family members including trust fund kid Harlan (fantastically played by Chris Evans). Crime author Harlan Thrombey seems to be the only decent one in his family. Benoit is mysteriously brought in to investigate with the police when Harlan seems to have committed suicide, but Benoit suspects he was murdered. The movie reveals the backstory through flashbacks and it is delightful puzzle piece mystery. I'm glad a sequel to KNIVES OUT is getting made. If you have sour feelings for writer/ director Rian Johnson over STAR WARS: THE LAST JEDI which divided the fan base, I can say Rian Johnson is better at working in his own playground of ideas instead of trying to make a splash in someone else's.

FINAL ANALYSIS: KNIVES OUT is a great murder mystery with a spectacular cast. The making-of documentary is the best extra on the disc and worth watching if you want to know more about how it was made.
