DEFYING GRAVITY is the type of show I would love to see done with less soap opera and as straight sci-fi without the alien element to show how a crew handles a six year mission.   Despite my small problems with the series, it is a good series that deserved to be watched by more viewers.  It was shown in late summer (to be cancelled with five episodes left unaired in the USA).   The cast convey interesting and yet flawed characters while the production design and special effects are top notch.  Again I could have done less with the soap opera of their complicated relationships and the cover-up over one mission control member done by the International Space Organization (ISO).

SPECIAL FEATURES:

MISSION ACCOMPLISHED: A LOOK AT DEFYING GRAVITY- a ten minute promotional featurette.  It features interviews with the cast and producers James Parrot and Michael Eddelstone in addition to some behind-the-scenes footage.   Better than the average promo EPK.

29 deleted scenes for the episodes running about a half hour long- all stuff looks like it was cut for time and would have  added padding except the alternate ending for KISS.

FINAL ANALYSIS:  DEFYING GRAVITY is a good short-lived sci-fi show that deserved a chance and this set will be there for fans (and new viewers).   I wish they had an audio commentary or featurette explaining where the series would have went.
