ETERNALS is a disjointed mess and diehard fans of the original Jack Kirby version of the ETERNALS might not love this movie at all. Sometimes it feels too short and sometimes too long. The big problem is that you have ten different characters and not enough character development of them. Angelina Jolie (as Thena) does a great job with the little time and material given her. The relationship between Ikarus and Sersi is interesting. There is an anachronism that goes too far where the Eternals know how to speak American Sign Language thousands of years before it was invented. This movie has to be the worst MCU movie and I struggled with this one so much. I think writer/ director Chloe Zhao isn't the right fight for a Marvel movie. I liked SHANGI CHI, but I don't like ETERNALS. The movie has great costumes, actors, and effects, but the story really sucks and I don't know if I want to see the sequel. The end credit scenes are even underwhelming.
