WYRMWOOD: APOCALYPSE is the sequel to WYRMWOOD: ROAD OF THE DAMNED. It took a while for this sequel to be made. It came about in 2020 when they got funding to make it and after the WYRWOOD: CHRONICLE SOF THE DEAD TV series didn’t get made (after a teaser was made for it).

THE WYRMDIARIES PART 2: MAKING WYRMWOOD: APOCALYPSE (37:33)- a making-of documentary on the sequel which is a mix of bloopers/ outtakes, cast and crew interviews, and behind-the-scenes footage

There is an audio commentary with the director Kiah Roache-Turner talks about the development of the movie and how the production differed from the first one

FINAL ANALYSIS: I enjoyed the sequel, but I still like the first one better because the sequel made the two main characters of the first one into supporting characters. It is wise to make them main characters for the third one if it gets made.
