10,000 B.C. is the type of movie that you sit back and enjoy. Like many big Hollywood productions, it is all about the surface and the script can be ripped to shreds. However, I did enjoy the journey of 10,000 B.C. As a big budget popcorn film, it fits for march. Still it would be a disappointment if it was released in the dead of summer. the story is simple and easy to fall. D'Leh is the son of a mountain tribal leader (who left the tribe because he couldn't wait for the last Mammoth hunt to happen). D'Leh gorws up as an outcast who falls for a girl that the tribe takes in, Evolet. D'Leh ha s achance to win her and screws up only to lose her to slavers who take half of the village. It begins his journey to free his people and Evolet. He ends up being caught up in prophecy and have to decide if he wants to be leader of other tribes in a battle against an empire that builds the pyramids at the end of the river.

10,000 B.C. is an enjoyable time waster. It is almost as fun as STARGATE, but a little more punch to the story would have made this film a gem.
