James Reece works for US Ambassador Bennington in the US Embassy in Paris, France. He has a beautiful girlfriend
named Caroline. All seems to be going well for him. However, he is also a low level agent for the CIA.
He gets his big chance at bigger jobs when he is asked to drive around an unconventional operative, Charlie Wax (John Travolta).
Charlie Wax is a one man killing machine as he is first trying to destroy a drug ring when he is after terrorists.
Reece's life starts to come apart and open up with this mission.
FROM PARIS FROM LOVE is another popcorn action film from Luc Besson's Europa Corp. The film is an entertaining
action film just designed to fill the time. It isn't as intense or as good as last year's TAKEN which hinged on some
great action and a great performance by Liam Nesson. Jonathan Rhys Meyers and John Travolta are good in their
roles, but you don't feel teh intensity in their characters like in some of the other characters in other films which Luc
Besson had a hand in. FROM PARIS FROM LOVE has some decent action scenes and a small nod to PULP fiction, but
it is destined to be a forgettable action film.
