Famous Danish porn star Princess aka Christina
dies from drug abuse. She leaves her five year old daughter Mia at a brothel. Her clergyman brother August returns home to take care of Mia. He finds Mia has been abused. So august is overcome
with rage as he sets out to destroy the porn empire that makes money from Princess.
They refuse to destroy all Princess return and so the damage (and body count rises).
PRINCESS
is relentless. It is a like taking a Disney film and mixing it with Taxi
Driver. You have the moments of an uncle caring for his niece mixed with
the harsh revenge he takes out on the porn empire. August even brings Mia
along with him. Most of the film is animated except for videotapes from the past
showing the years when August and Christina lived together (and Christina getting involved in porn with the help of her boyfriend
Charlie).
The only extras are the original thetrical
trailer and trailers for other Palisade Tartan releases. I wish this DVD had a featurette on the making of PRINCESS.
