PRISON BREAK took off as some type of twisted version of The fugitive for season 2 as the eight escaped cons finally escaped
from Fox River Prison. Now they have FBI Mahone (William Fichtner) on thei trail while they search for the $5 million that
D.B. Cooper buried in Utah. Not just Mahone is on the trail of all convicts (including brothers Licoln Burrows (Dominic Purcell)and
Michael Scofield (Wentworth Miller), but the mysterious Mr. Kim, Kellerman, and foormer prison guard Brad Bellick. The brothers
have the ultimate goal of reaching Panama and Michael wants Sara Tancredi (Sarah Wayne Callies) to join him. Mahone, KIm,
and Kellerman will use the convicts' fmalies and loved ones against them as season 2 is as thrilling as season one. I can't
wait for season 3 to start this week. Season 2 has a few twists including killing off a few characters, a few characters
changing their minds, and the season finale reversing the situation for some.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
11 audio commentaries were recorded for this set for MANHUNT, OTIS, MAP 1213, DEAD FALL, UNEARTHED, RENDEZVOUS, JOHN DOE,
THE MESSAGE, SWEET CAROLINE, PANAMA, and SONA. Too bad Dominic Purcell, Sarah Wayne Callies, and Wentworth Miller didn't
participate for the audio commentaries like they did for season 1. William Fichtner and Paul Adelstein do join the writers,
producers, and directors for the tracks.
On disc six are three featurettes:
REINVENTION OF A SERIES- talk about the show changed for season 2 and during it.
TURNING DALLAS INTO AMERICA- The producers changed locations from Chicago to Texas to get all of the unique locations they
needed for season 2.
PRISON BREAK THEME: FERRY CORSTEN BREAKOUT MIX- skip it. it is just music to footage from season 1 and 2 in addition to
music and club stuff.
Also a hidden featurette is on disc six. Highlight REINVENTION OF A SERIES and go right with your remote. Hit the stick
figure and the featurette will show you how the writers keep track of the deaths on PRISON BREAK.
FINAL ANALYSIS: PRISON BREAK Season 2 is a worthy follow up to season 1, but one wodners wher ethey will go for season 3.
Season 2 is for fans who want teh series on DVD and others who don't want to wait every week for a new dose of PRISON BREAK.
Too bad they don't have deleted scenes for this set.
