Belle's life takes a change when she meets a man named Alex (who she first mistakes for her client) and bambi who wants
to be an escort. Belle/ Hannah falls for this man named Alex. Her life begins to become complicated
that it starts to affect her job as an escort. Will she tell Alex and when? How will it effect their relationship?
Her relationship with Alex puts a strain on her friendship with Ben (who loves Hannah). Bambi is a naive version
of Belle even though she means well and wants to be friends with Belle/ Hannah.
SECRET DIARY OF A CALL GIRL Season 2 looks at the downside of being an escort. It's not as fun as season one.
It focuses too much on Belle's personal life and not enough time with clients. Season one was about fantasy where season
2 is how work can be affected by a personal life and the lives of her clients (and in one case the wife of a client).
Callum Blue is great as Alex (I loved the character Callum played on DEAD LIKE ME). The ending does make up for the
more serious tone and hopefully season 3 will reflect more of the fun of season 1.
SPECIAL FEATURES:
Disc 1 has a short interview with Billie Piper (BILLIE ON BELLE) as she talks about the real Belle and playing Belle
(alsoBelle as a character).
Disc 2 has eight webisodes (renging from 2 to 3 minutes each) that act as companion pieces to each episode with Bambie
and/ or Ben starring in them. Belle is absent from them.
FINAL ANALYSIS: I liked season 2, but I'm not in love with it as much as I was in love with season 1 of SECRET
DIARY OF A CALL GIRL.
